Thanks for digging deeper into Meander the World.
After four years of writing, I’ve accumulated a few stories. You can find all stories in my posts by scrolling through my blog. Just click the word ‘blog’ on the top header, to get to the list to browse through followed by clicking a post title or the words ‘older entries’ in the bottom left corner.
Alternatively, if you want to find out about somewhere specific, click in the search bar at the top of the page.
So what can you expect from this blog?
Stories of adventures from all over the world. I’ve been travelling for over 10 years to nearly 100 countries.
Lately, I have been taking more vacations closer to home, which you can find under my ‘Canada‘ tab.
But I also work as a tour leader, and am often travelling to exotic locations around the world and writing briefly about it under the Adventures Abroad ‘AA‘ tag.
More than anything, I just love taking photos. Most my photos are posted in real time on my
Most my photos are posted in real time on my Instagram account @meandertheworld before eventually ending up on this blog.
To help get you started, here a couple of posts I am proud of.
If you are interested in the outdoors, check out my post on our biking and kayaking trip from Vancouver to Whitehorse. Little did I know while writing that post that less than a month later we’d be moving to Whitehorse.
I have a thing for photo essays and jumping into adventures that are anything but easy. Another great post of a similar longer adventure is from our cycle and kayak trip across BC into the Rockies.
If you’ve travelled, you’ll be very aware that things don’t always go as planned, and my misadventures tab is all about those types of stories. Just have a look at our trip to Chile for a NYE bash gone wrong.
If you finish with my site and want to find out where else my work can be viewed, have a look at my press page.
And finally, if you have any questions, send me an email (kristensen.rae(at)gmail.com) – I’ll answer as quickly as I can.
Thanks for stopping by!
